原名蔡桂华，筆名蒼生。是上海78年民主墻时期的活躍人士，89年因支持“六四”學生被坐牢一年半，98年參與組建中國民主黨活動又被坐牢一年半，曾二度被美國國別人權報告列入關注名單，早年與同道人一起辦過刊物，寫過時政評論文章，歷經四十多年的反共生涯矢志不渝，於2000年被中共逼迫政治流亡美國，並在2010年歸化入籍美國。
